Benefit Soirées are important fund raisers for Capriccio, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit.  They make it possible for Capriccio to continue its mission of presenting intimate, world-class harpsichord concerts.  A donation of $200 secures one seat at this very special Soirée, with 75% of that amount being tax deductible.  These Soirées are very intimate and elegant events - seating is limited to just 14; the music Programs are specialized; and the Concert is followed by a complimentary multi-course dinner served with exceptional and rare wines donated by the International Wine Review.  For this Benefit Soirée, acclaimed harpsichordist Andrew Appel performs gorgeous music from François Couperin's Premier livre de piéces de clavecin - exquisite, charming, melody-driven music - followed by a delightful, effervescent, definitively-Classical Sonata by Joseph Haydn, and J.S. Bach's monumental Chromatic Fantasia and Fugue (BWV 903).
Music of the French Galante, late German Baroqu, and early Classical period
