Program Details:

Capriccio is thrilled to present Justin Taylor in his Washington DC debut.  Justin took First Prize at the world's most prestigious harpsichord competition, the International Musica Antiqua in Bruges, at just 23 years of age.  He is acclaimed as " artist of fluid, flawless technique, bold ideas, and much sensitivity" ( Justin's Program includes lush, sumputous works by French father & son Antoine Forqueray and Jean-Baptiste Forqueray; sparkling virtuoso Sonatas by Italian/Spanish composer Domenico Scarlatti; & the thrilling 20th century avant-garde work 'Continuum' by Hungarian/Austrian composer Györgi Ligeti.  This unusual Program presents extraordinary, thought-provoking music that pushes the harpsichord to its very limits. A not-to-be-missed concert!
