ABOUT US
Capriccio Baroque presents some of the world’s most exceptional harpsichordists in extraordinary intimate concerts in the Washington DC metro area. Our tiny concerts hearken back to the musical soirées of earlier times; they’re convivial, social events where the communication between musicians and guests is direct and personal. Capriccio’s innovative programming features both historical and modern harpsichord works and we take pride in encouraging brilliant, accomplished artists to share their particular interpretations of the works on their Programs. While our spotlight is very much on the solo harpsichord, we also offer programs featuring singers, dancers and other instrumentalists in concert with the harpsichord. Those who attend one of our concerts invariably return!
